I Got Done

Loading the truck. Everything is in it now. I am ready for tomorrow except for making out my tags. I will get that done soon.
I also set the canopy frame up in the yard by the old patio table. I have the legs set in flower pots full of dirt. I am thinking about planting my cucumbers there. I can grab one to snack on easily and as they vine up they will provide shade for us this summer. I will share a picture when I get a few more things done to it. I am going to put some lights on the top of the frame.
The snowballs have turned white now as you can see in the picture. They will be dropping off soon. When that happens we are supposed to be done with cold weather. I hope soon.

That's a good idea, about the cukes. They can vine up the poles. I always plant mine against a fence, they climb that and it works out well.

I got in the habit of planting the cukes on the end of the fence that I shared with Dale, my neighbor, who is no longer with us. He absolutely loved cucumbers. I always told him to help himself if he wanted one, and he usually did snare one now and then...he commented once how handy it was for him that I planted them at the end of the fence. Son said that we can't change that now...so we will plant them there, at least this year.

That actually sounds like a really nice summer setup with the canopy and cucumbers growing up the frame. I hope everything goes smoothly tomorrow with the move.
