Monday's Visit With the Mother-in-Law Went Well

I just realized I hadn't mentioned this week's visit with the mother in law. We normally visit her on Wednesdays but today is our wedding anniversary so we visited her this past Monday instead. As you'll recall, she has Alzheimer's and is 83 years old and we put her into a Memory Care facility at the end of January. She's been there 3 months now. There's been some ups and downs for sure, and some meltdowns, but she seems to have calmed down a little. Her mental capacity is diminishing rather quickly, though. Monday's visit was pleasant. She was calm and had no complaints. We heard the same stories multiple times, but that's to be expected. Overall it was a good day. I always post a pink photo with posts about the mother-in-law because pink is her favorite color.
