Just Met With the Dietician

It was a virtual video appointment so I didn't have to drive to the congested medical center area to meet with the Dietician.
He was nice.
The meeting was barely 15 minutes long.
He pretty much told me, and this is going to shock you, that I'm doing everything right. Seriously.
He was not concerned about my lack of vegetable or fruit intake as long as I'm taking a multi-vitamin.
He was super pleased about how much protein I get each day.
He wants me to get a slight increase of calories and carbs each day. He said I wasn't eating enough.
He helped guide me on my best food choices for this upcoming cruise.
He was okay with me eating bacon, sausage, meat, and protein bars.
He did say I might need to talk to the social worker about my attitude toward food.
But it was affirming that I'm eating okay for me.

That's good to know. Did you happen to mention you have some heart issues though? I thought you had brachcardia. I think I would be concerned about the lack of fruit and veggies just for that, if no other reason. Heart docs always recommend them.

@looeyville I believe that your body will probably signal what you need - trust it. That’s what cravings are all about. I need cake right now.

I am glad you are happy with what all he said. He did say one thing that I thought he would tell you--that you aren't eating enough, and that you do need a bit of carbs. Glad you took this step, and I hope you can find a way to eat more.

Well that's good.
I said before basically what he said.
I said you weren't eating enough and you should eat more carbs
But I think I picked up on your attitude to food before , but not being qualified to offer an opinion I didn't
Most unlike me
Im not sure about the last sentence of your post - are you eating ok for you and did he think you are?

Protein is the big buzzword these days. I have been told that if you do not eat enough calories you body holds on to the extra weight. If you feel good and have energy you must be doing something right.

That's really good news. I guess you would be pretty relieved to hear that given your unconventional eating habits.
