Well, What a Royal Pain in the You-Know-What

Just when the season starts, that's the last time you want to run into a problem. But things break when you need them, while you're using them. That's just how it works. But what a royal pain in the you-know-what. I went for my lunch date with my mom and sister at Sugarfire. Finished up the neurology appointment with mom. And when I got home I decided to cut the grass. Halfway through cutting the front all of a sudden, my rider mower just stopped moving. Wouldn't go forwards or backwards. I am sure it's something with the drive belt. So, it will have to go in the shop because repairing that is just a job I can't do anymore. The problem is, small repair shops are notorious for long lead times, and so who knows when I get my mower back to use, and the grass grows like weeds. I do have a self-propelled push mower, so I can still get the grass cut. But it's hell on my back and takes me three times as long. I guess it is what it is. Nothing I can really do about it. I'm just going to have to suck it up.
