Salmon and cucumber sandwiches

For the past few years I have not been able to eat salmon. It made me physically sick. I have been trying to reintroduce it into my diet. Yesturday I just fancied a salmon and cucumber sandwich. I’m just going to go for it I thought, And, do you know what …..I really enjoyed the sandwich and I was not sick. Such good news. I will try again soon as I would like to be able to eat salmon again. Are you allergic to anything ?

@Traceyjayne - I always check the ingredients before eating something I buy in the stores. I only had a problem once, some years ago, peanuts were not mentioned, but they surely used peanuts in the biscuits. My husband had to rush me to the ER.

@LadyDuck oh no ! That’s scary ….do you have an epi pen ? What about when you go out ….for a drink. Or a meal etc ….. if peanuts are used as an ingredient in a dish prepared in the same kitchen as your meal, or served as a snack, does that give you a reaction too ?

I miss having salmon but can never find any that is sold in small sizes and not too expensive or affordable but in such small sizes so not worth buying,

I'm glad you can enjoy salmon again. I am only allergic to one med...no foods.
