I saw my nephrologist yesterday; and he had the results of my labs.
My kidney function is down to 26%, I have advanced to Stage 4 (severe) and he wants me to have another renal sonogram ASAP and get surgery done on the kidney stone that is blocking my tube. I'm quite concerned about all of this. I'm hoping the surgery does not run into the time that my SIL will be here.
Breakfast - Granola bar
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Roast beef sandwich, potato salad, yogurt
Dessert/Snack - Brownie, low salt nuts
Dinner - PB&J sandwich, no salt chips, yogurt
What did you eat yesterday?

It would be good for me; but a disappointment for her even though she said it's not a problem.

I’m so sorry to hear this. I hope they can get it taken care of as soon as possible. I know you want to make sure you can enjoy your sister-in-law’s visit.
Yesterday, I had two ham sandwiches with tomatoes and mustard. I wasn’t too hungry yesterday, for some reason.

My sister had her stones blasted and it did not seem to slow her downn much at all. I hope you get things taken care of soon.

Is there any way to get the kidney stone out without surgery?

I am very sorry to hear all this. You will just have to work around those dates. On the other hand if you need some caret taking after the surgery maybe she could provide some of it. I know you would probably hate to ask..but needs are needs. Otherwise you may have to hire someone.
