I have always liked the scent of lemon. Not only does lemon refresh and flavor water nicely, it can also breathe new life into the kitchen, laundry and bath. Lemon contains citric acid which is a natural bacterial and antiseptic agent. The acid breaks down grime and it's low PH level makes it hostile to many pathogens which makes it a safe and natural disinfectant option. Here's a few ways to use it: * rub a slice on your counter to degrime, freshen, sanitize and deodorize. * great for cleaning the microwave. Use it with some water and microwave the mixture for several minutes to soften splatters inside. * Use it in the bathroom on shower doors, metal fixtures, tile and grout. * great in the bathroom for mildew and mold. * in the laundry lemon helps to whiten whites, and brighten colors.
