I'm Just Happy There's Nothing I "Have to Do" Today

Happy Friday everyone! it's overcast and a bit on the chilly side. However, looks like we might be heading into a heat wave over the weekend and into the beginning of next week. May certainly has been on the cold side so far,
Yesterday was my daughters birthday so I wasn't here. Did you miss me? 
It was girls day out and we had a lot of fun. We went to Outback steak house for lunch and my daughter-in-law met us there. We stuffed ourselves, had lots of laughs and then went shopping.
Of course one of our stops was Hobby Lobby so I was able to get the yarn I wanted and it was still on sale.
After our big lunch and shopping we decided to stop at Starbucks for Frappuccinos.
By the time we parted and my daughter in law headed home I was exhausted.
I'm happy that it's a quiet day today and that my daughter enjoyed her birthday.
So far nothing planned for the weekend but sometimes the weekends without plans turn out better.,

Nothing is going on this weekend. Going to try to go to church to hear my dad preach, but with my back, I never know what’s going to happen.

That sounds like an excellent day. I envy the realationship you have with your daughters. That must be very comforting to you. Yeah, I do have some fun stuff planned for the weekend. One thing is going to see Devil Wears Prada 2.

Oh, that sounds like such a fun day of celebrating. Those are the kind of days we always remember.
No big fun here today...trying to get son to feel better. We may have storms this weekend, and it looks like next week as well.
