The Basil plant is useful

In bengali we call basil plant as tulsi. I have tulsi plant in pots in balcony. The leaves are useful if eaten with honey which can reduce cold and cough. Also there are other medicinal properties of basil. It is offered in Vishnu puja. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/tQg708FRC_E

I just bought a pot of basil with several plants in it. I always keep one in my kitchen garden window. Thanks for the information.

I have three basil plants. One in my garden and two on my terrace. We Indians water the tulsi after a bath and offer prayers to it.
