I got my bill down at Food Lion from 24.90 to 9.57. %hat might not qualify to be an extreme couponer..but not bad. I had a 2.00 coupon on a Shop and earn reward. Also, had a coupon for a free 2 liter soda. This was a digital reward. Dollars off the Yasso Greek yogurt bars..and alot of other specials from the digital coupon hub.I think I did pretty well don't you?

Oh that is excellent savings you managed.
I like the digital coupons that I get on my rewards cards from the grocery stores.
I have enough saved for cash off that I should be able to buy alot of my bedding plants once the threat of frost passes.
I price match at the few stores here that will do that, but it doesn't always amount to much.
This week milk was on sale and I picked up about a month's worth of it for about $32, which is a tremendous savings, plus I will not have to think about adding milk to my lists.
I also picked up a case of 12 baked beans for $1/can which will keep for a long time and is so handy to have on sale.

@Juliaacv Do you have Costco there? They have good prices on milk.

@snowy22315 We drink ALOT of milk around here, as well I use it in cooking and baking when I bake.
Milk prices are higher here than in your country, we used to pick up milk when we used to go cross border shopping.

I was surprised honestly. The total kept going down, then I was gleeful.

@LadyDuck It inspires me to do even more with the digital coupons. Sometimes other couponing sites like Fetch offer rewards for buying certain products too.

Do any places there use digital coupons? When I think of the Phillipines, I mostly think of small food stalls, or maybe like what we call here a bodega.

You did great. I shop hard for food bargains, too.
A friend went to a grand opening of a grocery store the other day in a nearby city. She bought several things, and discovered ham at .49 cents a pound. She bought several, then when she came home she discovered her husband had heard about the sale and he stopped and bought one! She brought us a 10 plus pound ham, said they couldn't cram it in to their freezer, and she knew I would put it to good use. I was thrilled, I will cook it tomorrow.

Awesome! I love grand openings. When the store opened here they were giving away bags of free groceries I think to the first 100 people. I might have been one of them, but couldn't find a parking place. I did get a free loaf of bread, and a few other things.
