You actually never hear about the eyes till. You may have heard your mom or dad do it once or twice. I guess with most families its all it takes is once and out of respect you will never not repeat it. . Look at me in my eyes. I always wondered why it was so important.

Older people tell younger people to look into their eyes because the eyes are the windows into the soul and you can see who is lying to you or being truthful that way.

I do not think wolf cares if it is lying to it, but there is windows to the soul, just not all heaven and pleasant. You better have one of the strongest leaders in the whole universe to get a wolf to look an another wolf in the eye if they lying

Eye contact is important because it enhances communication by showing you are attentive and interested in what the other person says. In many cultures, maintaining eye contact is a sign of respect and sincerity.

True, but it is also a sign I am going to rebel if you look away.

@crossbones27 Wolves eyes are beautiful. They are wonderful animals and I cannot stand that they are no more a protected species here.

In the culture of our indigenous people, the aborigines, it's impolite to look someone in the eyes. Of course, white people see it as something else.

That's the way I thought it was here, but seen such a thing last two decades. It actually came from my German Shepherd. Where i noticed its a thing.I could look him in the eye but they could not. You look him in the eye and he would be ready to fight, but if I looked at him in the eye , it was a lot of power. yes sir where next its not cool, let me reel him in. Pretty crazy just experiences in life. You can destroy so much stuff just on ignorance or hate.

@JudyEv Yeah you have to be careful with their eyes, if they let you do it its honor because they can get snippy. i find myself turning and and I am like you little snot nose should not be giving you that respect but the respect they show back is amazing, They literally saying my life in your hands. Dogs have a way of making things hit hard.

@crossbones27 We've noticed that trying to take photos of animals, especially dogs. Some just won't meet your eye.
