Treating myself

So I thought I would give myself a little treat. I always liked wearing earrings but didn’t have my ears pierced. As a teenager my mum wouldn’t allow it and later I was worried it might induce some sort of growth because I do sometimes get lumps within my ear lobes and someone I know did end up with a lumpy growth like a bunch of grapes. And then you see older women with big droopy ear-lobes; I didn’t think that was a good look either 
. There’s a reason older ladies often wear big fancy clip-ons!
I would wear clip-on earrings for special occasions but they were always rather uncomfortable or even painful after a while. Now though I have discovered how to make earrings that are comfortable to wear. And earrings are also super easy to make. The best designs are the simplest; adding too many bits and pieces doesn’t work, it’s definitely a case of ‘less is more’.
So I got out my pliers and little box of beads and ‘findings’ and made some new pairs. What do you think?

@Fleura Being in the village we're more 'in the public eye' so to speak so I've had to up my dress standard a bit and keep wondering if I should wear make-up to go to the shops.

Those are cute. 
As a teenager, I wore a magnetic earring on my left ear. I also got some piercings but not in my earlobes.

so pretty! I like the one with duck design. But I'm not a fan of piercing. i have one when i was still a baby my mom got my ears pierced. I'm also lazy or sometimes a forgot to wear my earings. maybe im busy but if there's a special occasion i would really buy new pair of earings.
