More blooms

I couldn't get a decent photo of these orange poppies AND their purple petunia neighbors. So you just get to imagine the combo. I love the delicate paper thin poppy blooms. Very artistic to me.
Daughter mail today. Every month she sends me lovely postcard sized art that she has painted. We gave her a monthly subscription to art materials so she sends me results. Gives me a smile.
Today is home day: helper is here walking the dogs. She says she can mow some grass then she will help get books back onto shelves. (Last week we had to move book shelves so that workers could take out the ugly and dirty bedroom rug.)
It's summer today. I need to do some property wandering and watering. That always lifts my spirits. I wish I had woken feeling rested instead of 90 years old. Oh well.
