What a Treat

I have to be out of my apartment today by 11am as my dad is paying someone in our church to come clean my apartment. He’s also going to change my kitchen light, and fix my toilet. I really appreciate him doing this as I know my freezer needs to be cleaned out as well, and some things I’m donating need to be carried downstairs, and they are too heavy for me to move. So my dog and I will go to the pharmacy (again), and then spend time with Diana and her visiting goddaughter while those people are cleaning. When is the last time your place got a deep clean? Have you had a recent treat?

Well good.I am sure you will feel a bit better. Did your AC get fixed?..I am surprised your housing doesn't require that to be done honestly. Alot of housing programs are rigorous and exhausting with their cleaning standards.

I’m not a slob. I just need a few things done like the freezer, organizing the cabinets, and taking the donations down. Otherwise, it’s just a light cleaning. I’m not sure how that equates to not living up to cleaning standards.

@AmbiePam There are alot of people who are not slobs that have issues with some housing programs requiring over the top inspections all the time. Roomies friend lived in one that he said was absolutely insane with what they required in terms of cleanliness, and I have heard of other people speak of that too. I'd be out on my butt...

I love your Dad and I have never met him. That's just fantastic. We're paying for it but I am grateful to have somebody drive me down the freeway today.

That is a treat indeed. I would love someone to come in and deep clean for me but that's something that gets moved down the list as other things take priority, I'm sure it will be nice to come home and have a sparkling clean place . Hope your visit with Diana is fun.

How very loving of your dad. They're not going to secretly bag things up and throw them away again, are they? Our house stays pretty immaculate. Might need to clean the baseboards, but otherwise everything gets cleaned weekly.
