I tried an Italian dessert called zabaglione for the first time. It was when we had a buffet dinner. I found it really interesting and delicious. It had a soft, velvety texture that reminded me of custard. I don't have a comparison since this is the first time I had it. The dessert was sweet but not overly sugary, which made it easy to enjoy after a heavy meal. I could taste a light richness in every spoonful.

I might have had it once at Olive Garden or someplace similar. I don't remember it. Thanks for the post.

A big YUM from me. Zabaglione really is delicious but unfortunately I haven't had it in awhile.

It defiantly looks like it is very good. Even looks like it would be a light desert. I have never heard of it before so either we do not have it around here or its just that fancy as it looks and I have never been able to afford to go to a place that serves it LOL. Glad you tried something new and enjoyed it.
