Everytime I buy shredded cabbage for ColeSlaw, I end up throwing out what is left over. SOOOO..tonight I decided to try something different. I cut up half an onion, put in about a tsp of crushed garlic in oil, put some Olive Oil and a large pat of butter in a skillet. Cut up some sausage. Put the Onion and garlic in the Hot skillet on low medium heat, let that cook while I put the garlic rolls on a pan. Then I put in the sausage and cooked it on one side of the skillet while the Onions cooked on the other side. Stirred them together and added the left over Shredded Cole Slaw stirred it all together, put the lid on and let her cook. Went and got the rolls ready, then stirred up the cabbage and added some Bacon Bits. Let it simmer on low. Put the rolls in the toaster oven and waited. OMG it was SOOOOO Good! But next time I might put in just a tiny bit of SoySauce. I put salt and pepper in it, but it just really needed something else. The carrots in the Cole Slaw mix gave it a little sweetness. I really LOVE those Garlic Rolls. This box of them was good not all messed up like the last one. Tomorrow is Fried Chicken at the AmVets catered by The Wicked Wheel restaurant..CAN NOT WAIT..best chicken Ever!

I do things like that. Try chopping an apple in with your cabbage and onions. That may be the zing you need.

Coleslaw reminds me of "Never Been Kissed" movie, starring Drew Barrymore and Michael Vartan, hahahaha since she was an undercover reporter in a school, her brother helped her to fit in, and this is one of the scenes that his brother did that made him popular in just a snap by winning the coleslaw eating challenge in the cafeteria. Lol! It was a great movie.

You can freeze those cabbage bits, to use in vegetable soup. You can't use it for cole slaw when you freeze it because the texture changes, but for soups, it's just fine. I can't remember when I last had fried chicken. That sounds delicious.
