On Saturday, my uncle and his wife took me and my mom to a casino in Jamaica, Queens in NYC. My mom gave me $100 bill to play the slot machines.
I found one machine and I was playing on it trying to get to the bonus round. It seemed like it was just draining my money. I decided to take the money out and put it back in and see what happens. After I did that I and hit spin I ended up getting the bonus round, which brought my total closer to my original $100. I took the money out and went to look for a different slot machine. I had the same experience there.
It was on the third machine that I had the most fun. I had different bonus rounds multiple times and not only did I get my $100 back, but I also ended up winning $67.42.
When I cashed out my winnings, the guy actually gave me 45¢ instead of 42¢. I guess because they didn’t have any pennies. I played for about an hour I think. Not a bad win for an hour of fun.
I wanted to play longer but they already wanted to go home so I had to cut my fun short. Perhaps if I had more time on that slot machine I would’ve won more money. But who knows. I kept my winnings and gave my mom her $100 back.

The guy next to me seemed to keep on winning too.

It’s great you cashed in, and resisted the urge to try to win more. The thrill of winning is a wonderful feeling. Losing is such a disappointment.
Bravo!

@lovebuglena Question is, did you keep the $67 or split it with your mom, who financed the whole operation in the first place?

If my mom hadn’t called me to tell me that my uncle wants to leave, I would’ve still been playing. I was really enjoying myself. It’s probably a good thing that we love because while I thought I might win more money I probably would’ve lost it all.

@Orson_Kart yeah. It suckers you in. Once you start playing you don’t want to stop, especially if you find a very interesting slot machine.

Not a bad amount for sure. Now I have to decide what to do with it.

Thank you. Winnings weren’t bad. And I thought about it and realized that when I used to work I never made that much money in an hour.

Thank you. I had fun and I enjoyed myself. I don’t get to go to the casino often.

Me too! I wanted to play some more. And I had a feeling I’d win more money. But they wanted to leave so I didn’t get to do that.
