Yesterday I received a strange looking email in my spam folder. I had a 'feeling' that it might not be spam, so I opened it. It was an email, sent to phone numbers only, from my sister-in-law. She did something like this last summer, not sure how she can goof up an email, but...... The jist to the email was that Kaitlyn, who is a great niece, and got married on the Labour Day weekend last year, is expecting her first child. We typically all just email our SIL money and she either buys a shower gift or gives it as cash. Either way, it means that I do not have to shop-that's a win. I mentioned to my husband, that your niece is going to be a grandmother. Yes, he said, and that makes us a Great-Great Aunt and Uncle. Now that makes me feel old. I never had any Great-Great Aunts.
