Three years ago I met my gardening buddy. I look at the first photos of this house and I think wow! I loved it otherwise I would not have told my hubby this is IT. But the grounds back then were sterile, the trees pruned to sad nubs. No more prim and proper for this elderly house. She's wild and wacky now, poppies and foxglove and peas growing like mad things in a bathtub up front.
Both hubby and I made it to the pool this morning. (Yesterday I took Beau Teak kitty to the Vet for his monthly fluid draining.) Of course now I am achy and it is sweet sunshine outside. I have a little gardening project on my mind that involves petunias.
A week from tomorrow I head back South for what sounds like quite a biopsy. I need to continue to distract my too busy brain.

Making it to the pool was good.
Wild and Wacky sounds good to me
If I had to go for a biopsy, I'm not sure that I would
Hope it's nothing serious

@Ineeddentures I am up against the wall on this. It's not a small lump. I am deeply unhappy about needles but it is what it is.

@Ineeddentures I am not brave but thanks. I just want a way to live a little longer.

@sallypup
You are far braver than me.
A week tomorrow will soon be here though.
And the biopsy will be done.

@LooeyVille I hope you didn't over do it. I even have trouble with curbs- I can't lift my legs too high without difficulty.

Yeah, keeping yourself busy sounds like good therapy. I bet you have a wild and funky look to the yard.

Just now
I remember the pictures you posted of your house right after it was painted, I thought it was adorable. Not prim and proper, but expressive and different and I loved it!
It's good you are keeping busy, but with the animals and the husband and the yard, I'm sure you never lack for things to do! Slow and steady, wins the race!

I'm sorry you have to have a biopsy. I hope it goes well. Your wild and wacky place sounds delightful.
