Sometimes frogs and toad sounds at night are frightening

Frogs and toads are frightening. Whenever the night is very quite and there are no movements. If there is darkness. In that scenario if one ventures near a pond or waterbody and hears the frog or toad sound it really can make an impact.

When I go camping, especially at this time of year, I hear them but mostly during the daytime.

We have some big bullfrogs that live here, as we have two lakes (although I call one of them a pond, it's name is Twin Lakes) anyway, I love to hear the bullfrogs at night...they are loud but I don't mind them at all. The neighbors enjoy them, too.

I can relate, but I usually hear them when it’s raining and pretty loudly too. It’s like they’re a little choir singing together, hehe. They seem to be really active and happy when it rains.

thanks Marie and Allen you love them as you stay in a residential area. In forests and wild landscape their sounds have a fiery effect.
