My car was parked in the hot sun for about 3 1/2 hours today while I played cards with friends
When I left the restaurant and got into the car it was super hot like baking in an oven
My car info system said it was 95 degrees but the outside temperature was 85 degrees

The first thing I bought for my new car was Weather Tech window shades. It’s not nearly as bad getting in the car with them up.

I can relate to what you are saying since according to the news reports, cars inside can become ovens when an auto is exposed in the heat for a period of time.

Do you have a windshield shade? I have found if I must park in full sun on a hot day, that helps a lot!

I guess you were directly in the sun. My car was in the sun when I got in it, but not very hot.

@looeyville No need for all those degrees. I’m fading fast here at 22C / 68F.

That's why it's so lethal to leave people or pets in a parked car....yet there are still cases of deaths every year. People will never learn.
