Sweetness. Today is the second day of summer for my world. Tomorrow the temps go back down to Spring. My world is going through cycles faster than a new washing machine- two to three days of summer then a week of Spring then back to two days of summer and on we go..... I was sitting on my front porch puzzling out a couple of chapters in a short story. I looked up and spotted a yellow with black stripes butterfly lighting on one of the orangey red poppies. The visit was just a breath's worth but gorgeous. I think it was a swallowtail butterfly. I looked it up- swallowtails like poppies. The contrasting colors were amazing. I am grateful for the visit.
