Very Sad News Today

We had some very high winds yesterday. We have a Bald Eagle's nest along the Boise River that some people have been watching. Two eaglets just a few weeks old. But yesterday's wind blew the nest away and the two eagles were found both dead.
How very sad.

No, they were taken off the list in 2007. Idaho is the home of The Peregrine Fund's Center for Birds of Prey here in Boise. It is a special place where you can see nests like this along the Bouse River.
