Hello everyone. I hope your day has been going well. It is 78 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. It is gorgeous out! Work was absolutely obnoxious today. The behavior of my students really declined while I was away. I was absolutely fed up by the last class of the day and eventually gave up trying to explain evidence for evolution. They can figure it out on their own. I'm back at the apartment now with the cat crew. I've been working on some errands. I'm trying to run the dishwasher despite the fact that it flooded a couple of days ago. Hey if maintenance doesn't want to come after 3 days then they can deal with a flood. So far it looks okay though. So no big plans for the afternoon/evening other than getting some more stuff done around here. Of course there is the neverending carpet spot-cleaning.

What's everyone else up to this afternoon?

My work day is almost over, my wife isnt feeling too well so il be making dinner after work

I’m supposed to go see a movie pretty soon. I’m also trying to put some Neosporin on a cut under Sadie’s eye. So far, she’s just bared her teeth at me, and has let me doctor it. Miracle of miracles. I’ve thought about requesting new carpet, and while I know they’d give it to me, I don’t have the energy or ability to move the few things I still have in order for the new carpet to be put in. Do you feel that way about getting new carpet? My carpet should have been replaced before I ever moved in.

I wouldn't be able to move or store everything while the carpet was replaced so I just keep cleaning cleaning cleaning
