I mentioned lunch at Braums

Braums is a regional dairy and fast food store. Its founder grew up in Kansas. Before having Braums stores, they were Peter Pan Ice Cream stores.
I am not sure how many states they are in. I know Oklahoma and Kansas for sure. They keep a tight control on the production of much of what they sell. Especially the meat and dairy.
For lunch Bob and I had their special of the day. It was a combo meal of a double bacon cheese burger, plus drink and a side. Bob had fries and a cherry limeade. I had yogurt and a milk shake. The combos were $8.99 so we got our meal for under twenty dollars. That is quite unusual these days.
The food was delicious, very filling and so I did not eat supper last night, just some cottage cheese and frozen berries.
Are there regional stores you patronize? Do you live somewhere that has Braums stores?

Looks like the closest Braum's to me is in Springfield, Missouri.
We had a local dairy called Ehrler's. Well, we still do, as there are two stores, but they used to be pretty far spread out across Louisville. Those were THE treat locations when I was a kid!

They still take great pride in their products. We had not been in a while because it is not in our regular "flight path", I am wanting to try their reduced fat A2 milk because Bob is having some stomach problems.

That sounds so delicious. I get this strawberry lemonade from Great Value at Walmart and it is so delicious, I don't venture outside and have no place to go,

So is the strawberry lemonade a frozen concentrate or a mixed up drink? I bet Bob would like it, so I will have to look for it.
