It's WET!

It started raining and except for a couple hours here and there each day, it hasn't stopped raining. That isn't that unusual, becaus ethis is Florida and hurricane season kicked off today. And, if I'm being honest....we did NEEED the rain. But this is getting out of hand. The rivers were a little low so we keps saying how much we needed the rain. Well we got the rain. And now the rivers are too high. Soooo. Its going to be a little while before we get back out there with the canoe. Oh well. How's the weather where you are?

It was a hot day with a few showers in the afternoon that calmed down the heat.

It was sunny and 95 degrees today. It got up to 99 F in some Oklahoma cities. I’m too old for that literal hot mess.

My part of Kansas is having that rain as well. It is a mess. One minute sunny, the next it is thundering and raining.

We had a bad heat wave about two weeks ago, followed by a break in the heat and 4-5 days of rain, followed by several nice days (including today).

We had a huge storm go through and some low areas have experienced flooding. Luckily our little neck of the woods is fine and dandy.

It rained yesterday with thunderstorms, but the weather has actually been mild, especially humidity and temperature wise. It's helped us to keep the air off, which I welcome gladly for more reasons than the cost.

It hasn't rained today yet. And that's the first time it at least two weeks. But we jsut got a weather warning for over night. so we may get some tonight.
