The Vacation I Had in June

A full week of getting away from work. I was not running away from anything but that was simply what I needed— a vacation. One of the place where I stay was a camp located high up in a mountainous ridge about 1,200 meters above sea level. I did really cherished the moment I was there. It was peaceful away from the chaotic noise of urban life. This is my favorite photo in that place which I have took before the place will be covered by darkness of the night. Every photo I took there's a little story to tell attached to it, my experienced and a lesson I've learned in the Vacation I had in June. "Stepping into a place I was unfamiliar with but the feeling of awe and wonder took me to something deeper. A joy, inner peace and the discovery that I was capable of doing things beyond what I feared." PS. Well, that vacation happened last year.

Thanks! It is very peaceful there but the travel to get there is somewhat a little struggle mixed with adventure which was unknown to my parents then.

It’s nice to visit a place like that, especially in the Philippines where such spots are rare, particularly during the summer when it’s hot and humid. Being there is truly a refreshing break from the usual surroundings.

Gladly at that time there were no heavy rainfall during the day. And at night, it was nice that it rains because by the morning you truly feel refresh waking up to such place.

@valherma00 I never knew, I would like to stay in the mountain because I used to just be by the beach but when I was there. It's nice to live there. I even told my mother when I came home, my vacation should have never end and I gotta live there.
