I decided to plug in my computer and see what happened before I loaded it up to take into the shop. It came up. I went and checked for Updates, and found a couple. It let me update, and has been working so far. I will be playing Reels and Videos to see if it freezes up like it did the other night. Hoping the Updates fixed it. I really need to check every day for updates or atleast once a week. I have been waiting for the computer to tell me it needs an update, but apparently it forgot. LOL Anyway, right now I am a Very Happy Camper doin' the Happy Dance.

I may be wrong, but I think if you completely shut it off, it automatically updates. At least that is why people have told me that I need to shut mine down at least once a week. Same for phones. I am glad it surprised you and came up, though.

Make sure auto updates are on, and check your task bar, that's usually where the reminders are in windows at least.

I think that’s Murphy’s Law #481: the computer always works when you’re getting ready to take it in for repair or when the technician is standing next to it. Hope it stays fixed!
