I like lemon fizzy pop from Aldi. It is cheap but so refreshing …. Anyway we usually go every two weeks and I stock up. It really is the only thing I drink and I have it at home and at Moms. I have been drinking more since having this cough and I am now down to my very last bottle. Oh goodness me ….i will definitely have to get some this weekend. I usually get 10 bottles at a time …. I’m thinking that at the moment I may need to up that to 15 bottles. I don’t want to run out ….. What’s the one food or drink that you hate to run out of ?

Is this sugar free, or? I couldn't do that...well, I don't drink sodas anyway, but I can't have that much sugar. I mostly stick to water, coffee, tea, and sometimes sparkling water that isn't sweetened. I love anything lemon flavored though.

The thing with sugar free is that they generally add loads of nasty sweeteners ….i would rather have the natural stuff any day.

@Traceyjayne True. It's not so good either way. Sugar is healthier than substitute sweeteners, yet there are diabetics who have to use the sweeteners because they can't have sugar...a hard balance. I always remember that a regular Coke has 14 teaspoons of sugar. To me, that's a LOT of sugar. And I am one of those people that enjoy the occasional dessert, for sure...I think I would rather have my sugar in a dessert once in a while instead of soda--but I know we are all different, some would rather have the soda and not dessert. I understand that. I just can't have that much sugar--and I do wish it didn't taste so good!

@MarieCoyle yes, it is hard to know what to do …..I remember seeing an experiment with sugar in drinks and being horrified at the amount in coke …. Like you say, these things do taste nice though …..

Sadly, it’s Coca Cola. Truthfully, it’s Coke AND water. I cannot and try never to drink water from my kitchen nor do any of the people who live in my complex. There is something wrong with the pipes that make water taste gross. It’s probably what makes me skin break out when it touches that water too. I always have bottled water and Coca Cola in my fridge. Always. I drink WAY more water, but Coke really helps when I get nauseated.

I rarely drink soda anymore... I still want breakfast sandwiches even though I'm only supposed to eat one every few days now. We always buy 16 of them at a time... That will last me several weeks. I don't like lemon flavored stuff...

I get cans of soup every time I go shopping, and I always get quite a few because I don't like to run out. Same with bottles of juice.
