Some Stranger Said He Liked My "Energy"

I talk to strangers. All the time. Everywhere I go.
I was at a gas station convenience store talking to two strangers and after they left the man behind me told me, "I like your energy." I told him that I liked to stay positive and thanked him for the compliment.
Then later when I was playing cards there were these four elderly men eating one table over and I struck up a conversation with them because they were wearing Military Veteran hats and I thanked them for their service. When they left, the 90 year old kissed me on my head.

That's a cool compliment, needless to say! I always look for those Vietnam veterans and welcome them home, because I remember how they were treated when they did come home in the 70s.
Yeah, you do have a cool vibe.

Even though I've never met you in person I can tell that you are upbeat and friendly

Seems like you hit it off easily with strangers.
That is a good thing in my book.

I talk to strangers all the time, too. I ask the checkout person how they are today. I don’t think many of them ever have anyone ask them that- they mostly look surprised I even asked. I told a lady at CVS the other day that I loved her shirt, and she said I made her day.
It really is the little things!
