We had a very long day.

We left home at 11 AM to get to the other hospital we had to drive to, which is about 70 miles. Not normally a bad drive, but we are now in full force orange cone, construction everywhere on the interstate I had to drive on. Stop, start, over and over. We did make it on time. We also had to go to the adjoining city to another appointment and paperwork, etc. He also had two meds that were at war with each other, even though they were supposed to be OK together. As the doctor said, that theory doesn't always work for everyone, so he has med change. After all was said and done, we got home about 8 PM. Tomorrow, other than picking up son's meds and one appointment I think that's all we have on the agenda.
I am hoping for a calm and what most people would consider a totally boring weekend. And a better week to come. Yes, I stayed positive.
We told jokes on the way home. It helped a lot.
Hope you all had a great day.

I was so wiped out when we reached home., and the traffic was really terrible. There were 3 accidents in about a 20 mile stretch. We got re-routed by a roadblock and then I took the state highway the last 10 miles. This week has had way too much drama and total nuttiness—enough to last for a long time! Thank you, Amber.

@MarieCoyle - We had a nice morning, we came back home around 1 pm, had a snack and now my husband is napping.

I hope you have a nice outing. Yes, sometimes we get a bit silly when we are trying to get through a bad time. It helps distract my son and the day seems a bit better. Thanks so much, Anna.

It really was, but thankfully we made it home safely, and that son isn’t back in the hospital again. Yay!

That wore me out just reading it. And yes, it’s one of those problems where two medicines don’t interact in “99% of the people,” buy YOU are part of the 1% where it does.
I hope you have a wonderfully boring weekend.

Judy, I plan on doing what my Aunt used to call a bit of puttering, or basically a few hours of completely unplanned time! Thanks so much.

Oh dear what a long drive for you made worse by the pesky road cones.
