Good morning June 6

So, today I am off to the Jack Jouett festival. I explained last week he was the South's equivalent to Paul Revere. Anyway, as luck would have it it will be the hottest day all week with temps likely approaching 94. Anyway, I have a plan though, I have a mug there with the Jouett likeness on it. It looked really cool from the pictures and the first fill is free. I will only be having one drink though as I won't be staying long, and besides I am driving..They have lots of things there I would like to see like Revolutionary War Renactors, booths and so forth but I simply want to get in and out. My plan is to go shortly after they first open while it is still relatively cool. Have my mug of beer take a few minutes to see what I can see, and hightail it out of there before the temps get oppressive. It was lovely this week, of course it couldn't have been on one of those days!

Yes, sadly it is not shady there except maybe under the booths so not a good day to be walking about. They say it won't be humid so it might not be horrible, but 90 plus is too hot for that kind of stuff in my book..bright sun too..no Thanks.

@snowy22315 - Humidity is terrible with the heat. If it's not humid, the early hours of the day should be fine.

I hope it does too. The festival should be pleasant as long as the sun isn't burning down on us. Like I said, I am not staying long

It's hot here today with temps in the mid 90s and thunderstorms later in the afternoon and into tonight.

You know honestly I am done with the festival now..it was overcast so it never got terribly hot Thank God .a bit of a breeze as well.

Enjoy the festival.
Mind you, 94F would make it impossible for me to enjoy very much
But I am sure you will cope far better than I would.

It may only be 92 we are usually cooler here than in the city where the weather report originated from..and probably not until late in the day Is fine out there now..but I do have ceiling fans on, just because I didn't turn them off last night.
