Bananas Giganticus / myLot

So, although I have been cutting down on bananas recently due to the carbs they contain I am still buying a few to have with breakfast or for a quick snack. They are good for blood pressure. Anyway, the last time I bought these they were the biggest bananas I have ever seen in my life. They are the size of 3 average sized bananas laid end to end. They also have a big circumference. I should take a picture of them. Magilla (gorilla) would be so happy with them! Any giant fruit in your world?

I would love a giant banana I would make a huge big banana fritters with it like the chinkers do in their take aways Yum

@Ineeddentures Golden syrup isn't sold here as a rule. You would have to get it in an Oriental store or order it from Amazon, or get from a store that has imports.

We usually buy the packaged ones as they are generally not as huge as the single ones.

We don't get packaged bananas. They are put together with a band..but none sold in packages. I was joking with the title, but turns out there really are some bananas Giganticus from New Guinea I see. However, these are not those..

@snowy22315 When we were in Thailand we found banana trees in the country but the bananas had seeds. That was quite a disappointment.

They don't happen that often. Usually we get stuck with smaller than average fruits and veggies it seems.

I hope that at least it was tasty. A couple of months ago i bought a giant avocado, it was really big, the size of 3 normal avocados. Well the size of the stone inside was proportional to the fruit and it was tasteless.

Oh bummer! I think I have seen a few of those giant avocados as well. I wonder if they are all that way? The bananas have been really good. Deep yellow and flavorful.
