An Indian Meal, brough to you by Jim and Yvonne at 101

An Indian Meal, by Jim and Yvonne at 101 The Starter Onion Bhajis , home cooked by Yvonne, with Spiced Onions and a Pink Glasgow Pakora Sauce And a nice wee Little Gem Lettuce and Tomato Garnish This was Yvonne's first attempt at making Onion Bhajis and she nailed it. I did the Spiced Onions and Yvonne made the Pink Glasgow Pakora Sauce Quite impressive on all counts. We have been practising our Indian Cuisine for a couple of weeks now , it has been reviewed positively by our neighbours who have tasted our cuisine.

That's good to hear it's going well with that. Not sure I'd be a fan lol, but then you know how picky I am

Paneer is a good ingredient to curry I quite like it But we usually slice it up , cover in batter and deep fry I have of course posted the main course now also

I like Onion Bhajis, this is a reason why I always keep chickpea flour in my pantry.

@Ineeddentures - I am sure it was good, but different from the real thing.

@LadyDuck Well the recipe was followed and to be honest Anna the " real thing" as served up by Indians here is not as good I would say what Yvonne did was more the real thing I remember from 40 years ago But chickpea flour has been ordered so next time we will see if Bhajis are better Chick pea flour has to be cooked out longer

Chickpea flour is something we didn't have so Yvonne used self raising but mademthe batter quite dry and the result was quite good.wenwill buy some chickpea flour soon
