Well, we got the cover off the pool, and that's even put away already. The pool pillows are out and deflated and boxed up to store until we close later in the fall. Right now, we have both the submersible pump and the siphon tube going to drain it.
Yeah. It needs to be drained and power washed.
Looks like that part will have to wait since it won't drain in enough time to get that part done, so that's likely tomorrow's project. We will take the submersible pump out but leave the siphon tube in overnight.
I also managed to get the front grass cut. I'd like to have done the back, but of course we've got hoses on the ground and draining the pool is the priority at the moment.
Onward and upward. The work continues...

You know there's a faster way to drain your pool. Just cut a slit in the side and let her rip! And then when the pool is empty you can just patch up the cut with some flex seal or flex tape, or whatever that stuff is called you see them hawking on tv.
