The rains are the best for the banana and mango plantations. In bengal 3 forms of bananas called mortoman, kanthali and champa variety grow. 2 varieties of mangoes called himsagar langra are common in bengal. The rains can help the growth.

Yes Valentina one of bengal mangoes called himsagar got Geographical indication tag and are sold in the international market
