Today is the first day of classes for students.
This morning at around 7:30 a.m., a 7.8-magnitude earthquake hit Mindanao. As of this moment, there are 19 deaths and 134 injuries. Classes have been suspended, though most of the students are already at school this morning.
I saw a video earlier about a building that houses our famous fast food chain that collapsed right in front of the eyes of its workers and customers, who were able to get out of the building.
Records show that there are more than 180 aftershocks.
Kindly say a prayer for those affected by the earthquake.
Thank you so much.

It’s truly tragic for our fellow countrymen in the southern island of Mindanao. They were hard, with some casualties already reported, and the damage to property was horrifying to see. Thankfully, a tsunami wasn’t triggered, even though I noticed some movement in the coastal areas where the waves turned wild. Fortunately, it didn’t escalate into a full-blown tsunami in end.
