Time is running out

So here in NJ tenured teachers get observed twice per school year. One is a long observation that lasts pretty much the whole 40 minutes. The other is a short which can be anywhere between 10 and 20 minutes. The whole thing is stupid but that's what we have to do. The supervisor did my long one back in February. Then I was out of work for awhile. . . and I'm waiting on an assistant principal to do the short. I received an email from the supervisor this morning saying he wanted to meet tomorrow to finalize the end of year paperwork. I stopped by his office and told him that I still hadn't had the 2nd observation. Well that's all well and good but school ends next Friday. Next week is all half days and I'm just showing a movie. The principal is going to have to show up in the next 4 days. We shall see.

Oh, dear. Sounds as if you are going to have to do some serious nagging, not fun at all. I hope it gets done in a timely fashion.

They’re leaving their run a bit late.
