We have had bands of heavy rain out there today. I think it will clear up later though Nothing exciting going on here although I think I am going to order a wet dry vac. I think it will make life easier. I do have a dishwasher where the drain blocks periodically..but don't want to call a repairman out. It might be a simple fix but everything I have tried hasn't worked. If I don't manually drain the water it will pretty significantly leak all over the floor

It will. I hope I can find the manual for it. It might make it easier to fix. It probably isn't anything major.

That's good. Hail storms also can indicate tornadoes in the region. When I had a tornado here it also hailed. Do you get tornadoes there?

@LadyDuck I remember during the time of the tornado the hailstones were so numerous it looked like it had snowed.

@snowy22315 We do not get tornadoes in Italy and not even in Switzerland, but the streets were white because of the hail in some area this morning.

We have a wet/dry vac and they do come in handy.
We're expecting thunderstorms this afternoon and I'm just hoping they aren't severe. We need the rain

yeah, we got a bunch of heavy rain bands but the weatherman last night said it won't help the drought because the rain isn't sustained.

I am looking forward to it.I don't think it will replace the love I have for my cordless vac, but it should be a nice addition.

Well, actually we need the rain badly so it would be better if we got a lot of rain. Besides it keeps temps down.

A wet dry vac, never had one and no idea they could be used for drains or emptying a dishwasher
You don't want leaking fluid all over your floor though
