The United States Coast Guard (USCG) answered an emergency call on Sunday evening when a boat that was anchored in the ocean capsized above five miles south of Little Palm Island in the Lower Keys in Florida. The USCG rescued three persons who were clinging to an overturned boat were taken by the USCG to Bahia Honda State Park which is south of the Seven Mile Bridge in good condition. The USCG responded to an emergency call from the Monroe County Sheriff's Office around 5:45 pm. The owner of the boat plans to pay to salvage the vessel. I know what you mean since it is scary to be a boat that is lost at sea.

Glad the Coast Guard was so alert but it seems these boat rescues are getting ridiculous,

It really is foolish behaviour not to wear life jackets.

At least, they could cling to the overturned boat, which did not sink, and it was fortunate that the Coast Guard responded quickly to rescue the 3 persons, who would have experienced quite a frightening experience there, to be dumped, stranded, in the water, miles from land.
