Independence Day.

Today, the Philippines commemorates the 128th anniversary of the 1898 declaration of freedom from Spanish colonial rule. That means it is a holiday for us. And it is a long weekend so more people might take this opportunity to have a vacation somewhere.
As for us, we will just be home and relax.

We visited a café that had pet corgis for guests play with, and it was such a delightful experience. One corgi in particular seemed to choose me, staying by my side, letting me pet her, and eventually falling asleep in my lap. I was really touched that she chose me over the others there, making the moment even more special.

Happy Independence Day Raquel
One day Scotland will have such a day as well
We will be free from the voluntary Union that the English will not allow us a referendum on leaving.
They say because we had a referendum in 2014 and the people voted to stay in the UK that we cannot have another one
Sounds.voluntary,
They won't ALLOW us another one
