I was remembering a line from a movie I can't recall, in another discussion, and it made me recall a time I was in a bar once when a fight broke out between two guys. I have no idea what the fight was about, but I know the guy got up and punched the other guy who fell on the floor and he just got pummeled.
The guy getting beaten up didn't have a chance.
He was there with a friend, but the friend just sat there, not intervening, not saying a word. He just sat there as if nothing was happening, which I thought was odd, but okay.
The beating went on for some time. It was probably a minute or two, but to me it felt like an eternity. I'm sure for the guy getting the beating it felt longer than it felt for me.
Nonetheless, the friend finally got up, went behind the guy doing the beating and grabbed him by the shirt, which the guy doing the beating then turned and started his fist toward the friend.
It was one punch the friend gave the guy. One, single, solid blow that landed so right, I kid you not, it knocked the dude out cold. He hit the floor and the friend simply said, "He's had enough."
Not I've had enough. Not that's enough. He's had enough. In other words, the guy getting beaten.
I swear this is a true story. Every time I think about it just makes me laugh. That would be a great line for a movie—or maybe it's already been done, who knows?
He's had enough." You can't make it up.

You just left me speechless. As Bugs Bunny my friend once mumbled, "What an ultramaroon."

Okay, I know fights are serious and all that, but I have to admit… the timing and delivery of that line is straight out of a movie ??
