Good morning myLotters.
Another Wednesday rolls around, middle of the week, and in this case, middle of the month.
I am lucky enough to have a short work day today. My employer recognizes June as Employee Appreciation Month. Last week there was a catered meal for anyone who went into the office as well as 3 hours off with pay. Today is another half hour off with pay.
Not too hard to take.
I have booked a personal day tomorrow, so will finish early this afternoon until Friday. I have a couple of appointments that I needed to get done during the workweek, and decided to pair them up on the same day.
Anything really wonderful coming your way today or lately?

It sounds like your employer appreciates all you do & rewards you like that. Enjoy your free time!

Yes, they are good for recognition.
They flew me out to Victoria, BC a couple of months ago and put me up in the Fairmount Empress Hotel for 5 days for a prestigious award that I received. It was quite nice, my family flew out too and stayed at a resort about 5 minutes away so that we could spend our days together.

Enjoy the free time. You have a good place to work. Nothing special here.

Good morning! ??
That sounds like a pretty nice way for an employer to recognize their staff. A catered meal and paid time off are certainly better than one of those generic "we appreciate you" emails that seem to be so popular these days!
