So yes, my appointment with my pain management doctor went well, and I appreciate all the well wishes. He called in my medication, but I have even better news too. He now has a mobility specialist working for him, and she told me insurance approved me for a TENS machine, and something I’ll just call a neck stretcher. I’m hoping this will help my pain tremendously! For those who don’t know, a TENS machine is a tiny “machine” attached to electrodes you place on the parts of your body with pain. You turn it on, and it sends electrical pulses to those spots. I used to use one after my car wreck in physical therapy, and it was so wonderful. Isn’t that great? To top it off, the doctor was on time!
What is some good news you have? I’ll take any, tiny or big.

That's great, I'm glad you are getting what you need for your pain management. I think the only good news I have is that my son's medication seems to still be working, and he's gone almost a month without feeling major depression and anxiety, both of which have been manageable for him in a way it hasn't been in a long time, so I'll take it.

The good news is that Tropical Storm Arthur will likely head for the Baton Rouge region this evening or tomorrow morning and avoid causing the Lake Charles metro area from being flooded.

That is awesome. I hope it is just what the doctor ordered to help with your pain.

Congrats on the tens machine, my physiotherapist used one on me 5 days a week for 4 months following my whiplash and strained muscle along the top of my shoulder. That and dry heat did feel awfully great.
My good news is that I was able to reach my family doctor this morning on my morning break.
I spoke with his wife and she told me that she would go over the refill slip up with the doctor and get back to me. He called me on his lunch, he is such a kind and helpful doctor, and I thanked him. Just before finishing work I received a text from the pharmacy that my script was ready for pick up, so I walked over and have them now. Yippee, love it when things work out so well.
