Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 70 degrees F and clear here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is 90 and it is supposed to rain/storm. Fine with me. My car needs to be rinsed off because it is covered in pollen. Today is the 2nd to last day of work for this school year. I've given up trying to even show them a movie. I have games (UNO, Jenga, Shut the Box, Apples to Apples, etc) that they can play. At least they will be interacting with each other instead of being on their phones. I will finish my end of year paperwork today. We'll see if I win the award yet again for most failures. I usually do. It is a half day. Teachers are supposed to stay for the full day but I will be outta there at 11:15. If everything is done there will be no point in sitting there for another 2 hours. What's everyone else up to today?

It’s in the low 70s here after a stormy morning. We didn’t get anything like the areas north of us in southern Indiana did (they’re doing tornado survey damage in Bloomington, Indiana), but got a LOT of rain and even had a tornado warning for a few minutes. I’ve had lunch, posted a couple of discussions for your “slope” pleasure and I’m ready to walk over to the mall to get my steps in.

Hopefully the paperwork and grading isn't so bad, but I guess only time will tell. I'm working from home today. I always enjoy it, but as it's raining right now, I am definitely glad that I don't have to go in to the office.

Good morning... It is 70F in my part of Missouri this morning and pouring rain. It's supposed to rain/storm all day today through tomorrow morning. We have a flashflood watch for my part of Missouri that ends tomorrow along with a high wind warning. I am dizzy this morning so Pretty brought my morning meds, a slice of lasagna for my breakfast and fixed me something to drink and told me to stay in bed this morning unless I need the bathroom. She also brought my cane to my bedroom in case I need it. It normally lives in the living room out of my way. Since it's raining, we can't go out and spray for ants around the house footings and the windows in the kitchen. She sprayed Monday but it rained Monday night so ants are exploring on the kitchen counter again this morning. Normally, we spray for them once and don't see them again until the next spring. I hope you have a wonderful day today. Good luck with the award for most failures? Maybe? If that's what the students earned, then that's what they should get. (I'm almost always on the teacher's side in that kind of thing. I had to fight with three of Pretty's teachers because our school district hired stupid teachers. Pretty knew more than they did but they'd get mad and try to punish her if she pointed out that they were mistaken. I had to see the principal several times before the principal started questioning why Pretty was being punished. One teacher got fired over punishing Pretty when Pretty was right.)

No point in passing students if their work isn't up to scratch.
