Do you usually end your meal with dessert?

Most of the time, I don't have any dessert after I finish my meal. Sometimes (but very rarely), we have ice cream after dinner.
My husband's friend, who lives in Connecticut with his Venezuelan wife, told us that they always have dessert right after dinner.
