Do you usually end your meal with dessert?

Most of the time, I don't have any dessert after I finish my meal. Sometimes (but very rarely), we have ice cream after dinner. My husband's friend, who lives in Connecticut with his Venezuelan wife, told us that they always have dessert right after dinner. What about you?

We always have a dessert after dinner, not all the time a cake, it may be ice cream, or a fruit salad.

@Ayu2026 - I only use orange juice when I prepare my fruit salads, no sugar and lemon that "wither" the fruits.

@LadyDuck Did you mean the sugar that withers the fruit, or the lemon? Or is it the mixture of sugar and lemon juice?

not always, usually it is not as a dessert but as a refreshment, generally it is young coconut or fruits.

@May2k8 Yum. Sounds so yummy. It's not common to have young coconut as a dessert in the place where I live.

usually, after lunch but not straight away but after dinner, not so, very rarely. maybe a fruit or a hot cocoa.
