Everything Trump touches dies. #ETTD In his quest to completely destroy everything in Washington DC Trump decided to renovate the Reflecting Pool by the Washington and Lincoln monuments. He said it was filthy and leaking (narrator: it wasn't) and for the low low price of $14 million he had some friends of his paint the bottom of the pool blue. He calls it "American Flag Blue" or something stupid like that. Yeah well just like a week after it reopened it became filled with algae which turned the water bright green. You'd think it was the river in Chicago on St. Patrick's Day. Of course Trump's administration tried to spin it as something to be expected after the water pumps were turned off for a couple of weeks. Then the geniuses started dumping hydrogen peroxide into it. . . you know that stuff that dissociates (breaks down) immediately when exposed to sunlight. Um why do you think peroxide is always sold in opaque brown bottles? Today it is now being reported that big chunks of the blue paint layer have broken off from the bottom of the pool. It is a $14 million failure. Sounds about right for a Trump project. But hey your gas and grocery prices are down right?
