Sunny Friday

Good morning, and happy Friday everyone. 
It is a nice bright and sunny day here.
It is great to see the sun shining so brightly, yesterday was an overcast day. Sunshine is a real mood maker and people are generally happier on sunny days, and on Fridays as well.
I am relieved that I got my appointments completed yesterday. My hair dresser worked her magic and I am good for a while again. I have a new pair of glasses being made up for me. My prescription did not change much, but my frames are a couple of years old and they do not last forever.
Team Canada played Team Qatar yesterday in the Fifa game. We skunked them 6-0. We play Switzerland next week. I did feel badly for the Qatar team players last evening, thinking of how very far they had travelled to attend the games and to be play a match without so much as a single goal must be a bit disheartening.
Enjoy the day today everyone, and I hope that if you do not have a sunny day on tap, that you find your own sunshine to make the day great.

We had small storms yesterday but I think today is going to end up being unbearably hot. Not looking forward to it at all but it is what it is. I have a lot to do inside and we'll do outside early Sunday morning.

You are right.. people are happier on sunny days. People are also happier on weekends because most people don't work on weekends

It is pouring down rain right now..but is supposed to stop by noon and the rest of the day and particularly the weekend will be nice. Nice picture of Ellie.

A bright sunny Friday really does feel like the perfect combination. I agree sunshine has a way of lifting the mood and making everything feel a little easier.
