Lifeguard rescues a driver who drove his auto into a swimming pool

Mike D' Urso who is a lifeguard at a public swimming pool in New Canaan Connecticut was a witness when he saw a male driver crash when the driver accidently drove his Tesla auto through a fence and entered a swimming pool while the driver was inside his auto. The swimming pool area was empty since it was in the morning when Mike jumped into the swimming pool in an attempt to rescue the driver was inside his auto when the New Canaan Police officers assisted Mike by breaking the auto window to get the male driver out of his auto and place the driver on a backboard and taken to safety. An ambulance came to take the male driver to a local hospital to be taken care of for his injuries. John Howe who is the director or parks and recreation in New Canaan that the swimming pool could be drained so that swimmers can swim in a safe pool. Link is wbaltv.com/article/connec,,,
