Cooking Marathon

Is what I did today. I decided to throw more potatoes in the oven to bake. One of them exploded 
. I also scrambled enough eggs to feed the 2 of us 6 meals. I fried them 2 at a time to make it easier packaging them for the freezer. I also had to make bacon and sausage to mix into the potatoes. All of that is now in the freezer.
While the oven was hot I made some brownies too. I deliberately left them gooey in the center 
. And dinner was pizza on garlic toast. I am done cooking for the day. Wish I was done for a week after all that.
I did get the ducklings area cleaned out this afternoon. That's the only time I have went outside since this morning. It has stayed in the 60s all day and wet. I just need to go out one more time to put the chickens up. Then I will be staying inside.

Just happened to look out and see the visitor pictured in George horses pasture this afternoon. She just watched me while I took the picture.

I had a very quiet day between reading and napping. I steamed and ate a lot of veggies, carrots, broccoli and zucchini all mixed together and made another batch with some potatoes diced up with them. (The second batch is in the freezer now.) I also ate some Salted Caramel ice cream.

That is a lot of cooking for one day. But it will be nice to have that ready on days in the future, too.
George has a new friend! Hope new friend doesn't eat any of your pretty flowers!

The eggs will be for winter. I will do that several more times as long as these taste good when I check later.
They seem to stay out of the yard area. I have enough things there to make them nervous

That's when they are the best. I will sometimes pop one into the microwave to get close to that

Pizza and garlic toast sounds good to me. I love pizza..I just don't know how to make it
